Coming to Class…
When coming to class, please come 15 minutes early. If you are a new student, bring payment to class if you have not registered and paid online. Please note that all classes must be completed within the current session. If needed – yoga mats, blocks and straps are available at the studio for your use. Yoga Basics is a slower paced class for those new to yoga, or those who have been in class but may want to know more about the basics. We will focus on the essential elements of yoga and work on understanding our bodies as we move through poses. Classes will begin with relaxation and breathing exercises and end with breathing and a three to five minute meditation to help reduce stress.
In Vinyasa Flow class, we will work through creative flows, moving with the breath. This class is done in a little bit warmer space and is more intense than our Basics class. Students will be offered pose variations so that each workout can be customized. Poses are a moving meditation, meant to support you in becoming more flexible, creating strength and increasing your level of endurance. Each class is different and will vary by instructor.
Gentle Yoga will begin on your mat, move to standing and end on the ground. It will focus on relaxation and restorative poses without having to get up and down off your mat. The intention is to provide those who want to start out slowly, can’t get up and down quickly from the ground or have therapeutic issues an opportunity to gain strength and flexibility. Pregnant friendly and chairs are available for your use.
Yoga for Runners
BEGINNING MAY 1ST, GROUP RUNS HOSTED AT 4PM WITH CLASS FOLLOWING AT 5PM. Yoga for runners is a class designed for people who are very active. Whether it be runners, martial artists, football players or wrestlers – this class will help you to build strength and flexibility. Focusing on hips, hamstrings and core, you will leave feeling worked out and stretched!
This class will target certain muscle groups and always include an amazing core workout. Absolutely focused on toning and strengthening your muscles, this class will help you reach the next level in your practice. We will use yoga postures and breath to target muscle groups that we need to support us in arm balances and other postures as well as working on flexibility to lengthen and strengthen your muscles!
Private and Semi-Private Sessions
Private sessions are available. Use our contact form to contact us directly if you are interested in booking a private session and we will get back to you right away. Please note: there is a 24 hour cancellation policy. Anything cancelled after that or no-shows are subject to a full price charge in services. Sessions are one hour in length.
